The Fig Tree Camp – Maasai Mara is located amidst the Maasai Mara National Park, on the banks of the Talek River. It features accommodation with private bathrooms, a swimming pool, and a restaurant.
All the spacious tents and lodges at the Fig Tree Camp have private bathrooms.
Guests can enjoy the special Champagne Bush Dinners under the moonlight, including a night game drive and a barbecue dinner on the Mara plains. The Fig tree also has a 2 bars, offering perfect spots to enjoy some drinks.
Departing daily from the camp, guests can also arrange balloon flights. The loungers by the pool offer the perfect location for a relaxing sun bath. A medical clinic and a resident nurse are also available on-site.
Lake Victoria is 192 km away. Nairobi is 240 km away and the property can arrange an airport shuttle upon request.

Day 1 Full-Day Game Drive and Picnic Lunch
MORNING Sunrise Game Drive Begin the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to see predators like lions and cheetahs on the hunt. You’ll also witness the magical sunrise over the African savannah. AFTERNOON Picnic Lunch in the Bush Continue your game drive with a picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve. Enjoy your meal while surrounded by nature and perhaps spot wildebeests grazing nearby. Explore the Mara River Visit the Mara River, famous for the annual wildebeest migration. If you're lucky, you might witness animals crossing the crocodile-infested waters. EVENING Dinner and Bonfire After a long day of adventure, return to your lodge for dinner under the stars, followed by storytelling around a bonfire.
Day 2 Hot Air Balloon Safari and Maasai Village Visit
MORNING Hot Air Balloon Safari Take a hot air balloon safari at dawn and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the Mara’s landscape. You’ll float above wildlife and watch the sunrise paint the sky with vibrant colors. Champagne Breakfast in the Bush After landing, indulge in a champagne breakfast in the wild—a memorable way to start your day. AFTERNOON Lunch at the Lodge Head back to your lodge for lunch and some rest before your next adventure. Visit a Maasai Village In the afternoon, take a cultural excursion to a nearby Maasai village. Learn about the Maasai people’s way of life, traditions, and participate in their famous dance. EVENING Dinner and Maasai Dance Performance Enjoy a traditional Maasai dance performance back at your camp, followed by a delicious dinner.
Day 3 Leisure Morning and Evening Game Drive
MORNING Relax at the Lodge Take it easy with a leisurely morning at your lodge. Enjoy a swim, spa session, or simply relax on the deck with views of the surrounding savannah. Brunch at the Lodge Indulge in a mid-morning brunch after sleeping in or enjoying the serene morning. AFTERNOON High Tea and Leisure Walk Some lodges offer guided nature walks around the camp. Take a walk with a Maasai guide who will teach you about local plants, animals, and survival skills. EVENING Evening Game Drive Head out for an evening game drive to spot nocturnal animals like leopards. This is also an excellent time to capture photos of the Mara’s golden hour. Bush Dinner End the day with a special bush dinner under the stars, complete with lanterns and a campfire atmosphere.
Day 4 Final Game Drive and Departure
MORNING Sunrise Game Drive Enjoy a final early morning game drive and say goodbye to the Mara’s wildlife. This is a great time to catch any animals you missed earlier.
